The course deals with promoting Higher-Order Thinking Skills through English literature, and the new Literature Modules D and F for the four- and five-point English Bagrut assessment. Course Requirements: The course is 30 hours. Following are the requirements for earning half a credit (gmul) with a grade and recognized by Oz Letmura/Ofek Hadash: • Attendance at the F2F session at the beginning of the course and the F2F at the end of the course. • Meaningful participation in at least 80% of the online forums and tasks. • All participants must have read the poems and stories which are on Option Two of the National Program, before the course begins. • Portfolio of work that includes: 1. introduction 2. one unit of literature work devised as part of the course work, using a Unit Planner 3. reflection on implementation of one of the units of work in the classroom 4. reflection on the course, the teacher’s learning process and application of the program in the classroom
